This is the first studio album by Bostons' own Showcase Showdown. How certain members of the human race have came so far in the past 15 years, without knowing of this bands existence is beyond me. Their very name is synonymous with the words pogo-punk. Catchy songs, hilarious lyrics, a great stage show. I was fortunate enough to see these guys, and gal a few times and they never disappointed. They put out probably a dozen 7"s, a bunch of splits, and a final album entitled "Permenant Stains" and called it quits in 2000. I once heard a rumor the singer freaked out and claimed punk rock ruined his life. Thats OK It ruined mine too, but i'm glad! Most of the band carried over to form a band called SPITZZ which are still active today.
