Manix / Virus "We Are Not The Guilty..." split CD-R (1998)

CD-R limited to about 80 copies.  This was the first recording from philly's Virus, who distributed the CD widely on AOL's "punk chat" circuit.  Initial Virus lineup had guys from Bomb Squadron and US Expulsion (demo wanted).  Two songs, decent enough, but primarily lends a strong hint at what was to follow. Now on to the MANIX from Long Island.  Active for maybe all of 2 years in the late 90's; Manix were fronted by this jacked up dude named Stuart who I have fond memories of buying me and my friends forty ounces of Midnight Dragon whenever we'd see him down on St Marks place.  It should also be noted here that Stuart was a great dancer and always owned the circle pit every time he entered.  Manix offer up some nice early So Cal inspired punk and leave us wanting more, wondering what could have been.  The band broke up a little while after this release and members went on to other bands The Casualties and Devotchkas.  I used to see Stuart at gigs for the next ten years until I heard he suffered a massive heart attack and unfortunately passed away. NEVER FORGET BIG STU! Cheers !

Stock Street Mob - Demo 96'

Sorry for the delay in updates, I moved and had some pressing matters to take care of. Anyway, Stock Street Mob came from Monroe, NJ and gigged for about two years before the members went on to join other projects.  I think one of the guys wound up in Dread Fabrik. Heres a great demo from them. Thanks to Jeff for passing his copy on to me, as mine was eaten by an 86' Mercury Topaz so many years ago.  Enjoy it!
