This was my introduction to the Quincy Punx on RECESS RECORDS. Boy do I remember getting yelled at every time I turned this one up. If you take the time and listen to the lyrics in Malicious Mischief, you'll understand where these guys stood on many pressing issues. I feel this record really captivates the bands 'essence'. Songs about drinking, killing, partying, toilet slaves, GG Allins freeze dried body, etc. All topped off with a POISON IDEA cover! Not bad at all!

Nice! This was intended to be a full length (our 2nd), but at this point, labels from all over were asking for songs for splits, comps, etc. and this is all we ended up with.
ReplyDeleteWe've talked a little bit about re-releasing the back catalog, and putting all the songs from these sessions together, kinda the way it was intended.
Maybe one day if we can come up with the scratch, or find a label that is still into this shit...
