Back in the mid-late 90's punk exploded in New Jersey. This here was the definitive mark of creation by one of the most prominent local bands of the era, on BLACK PUMPKIN RECS. The Despised used to cart around the state playing VFW halls, all ages clubs, shitty bars for crowds of 5 to a few hundred. They had a unique sense of humor on and off the stage, just listen to the lyrics in ALCOHOLIC. They had a pretty cool 7" that came out a few years prior to this gem. I'd post it, but all the songs are included here. I got to play in a band a number of years later with the drummer Augie, hes a real character. Snotty, surburban, punk rock greatness from Ocean County NJ. Enjoy!
